GT-30

 

This class was first introduced in 2007.
The GT-30 class is an international v-hull outboard class,
the engine has to be EPA approved (low emission engines) 30 hp, 2 or 4 stroke.

Boats in this class reach a top speed of between 83 and 90 km/h, or just below 50 knots.
The minimum weight of boat raced, inclusive driver, is 250 kgs.

Celeste van den Broek #4 ( The Nederlands)

Born: 20.08.1992

Celeste is a pilot in the Nederlands.

She started racing 6th April 2008 at the Bosbaan in Amsterdam in the T-250 class.

The same year she became 3th in the Dutch Chapionship.

In 2009 she started in the GT-30 class and mecame Dutch Champion that year.

Celeste will be also driving GT-30 in 2010.

 

Charlotte Gilbert #6 (England)

Born: 20.07.1996

Charlotte lives in Staffordshire, England.

Raced JT-250 from 2008 to 2010, moved to GT-30 in September 2010 to get ready for the Europeans and World Chamionships in 2011. She is the sister to 2008 junior British Chapion and T750 World Speed Record Holder, Alex Gilbert. Charlotte competed in all the last three National series in the UK and in 2009 raced in the European Chaoionships until she had an accudent in the 2nd heat that meant she was unable to continue.

Charlotte will battle in 2011 whit her GT-30 and hopefully win some races!

 

 

Carl Pihor #7 (Estonia)

Born: 26.08.1993

Carl started in class JT-250, in 2006.

He best place in JT-250 is Silver in European Chapionship in 2008.

In 2010 he started GT-30 in Estonia.

 

Jüri Jõul #11 (Estonia)

Born: 02.11.1971

Jüri Jõul live in Tartu, Estonia.

He have Racing since 1988.

Starting in GT-30 in 2011.

Some resaults:

2010 World Championship 3-rd place, Endurance Pneumatics 200 HP class.

2009 World Championship 2-nd place, Endurance Pneumatics 200 HP class.

2 times Baltic Champion (R-2500 and inboard offshore).

7 times Estonian Champion (S-350, R-2500 and inboard ofshore).

 

Marius Fredriksen #27 (Norway)

Born:14.08.1990

Marius Fredriksen drove the first race in Drammen 20th of August in 2005. He have drived in T-250 2005,2006,2007 and 2008. In 2009 He start the class GT-30 in Norway. 2010 he drive the GT-30.

Marius are Norwegian Cup Champion:

2007 in T-250
2008 in T-250

2009 in GT-30.

Frode Tollefsen #39 (Norway)

Born: 07.04.1969

Frode Tollefsen started as a senior driver in the age of 39. Frode is the driver of his own team FT Racing. He began with boat racing in 2009 in Offshore V50, and he drove five races in this class. He started with Circuit V25 afterwards. Frodes first race in V25 started with one of the worst accidents in the last years, but all went well with the drivers. Frode is ready for GT30 in 2011 with his very special boat, the Wobber. Its only two of these boats in the world.

Philip Lundin #47 ( Sweden)

Born: 28.11.1995

Philip Lundin started race in class J-15 2007. I finish at total 2nd place in Swedish championship under my debute season 2007.
I took the step up to GT-15 in 2008. The debute for me in GT-15 was to the World Chapionship in Östhammar, Sweden.
I showd that the L7boat we build was working great. Season 2009 I become Swedish Chapion in GT-15.
I also did a debute in GT-30 at the end of the sesong 2009, I won my first heat and finisht the race at 3th place.
Now 2010 I left GT-15 and give all on GT-30.

Gustaf Linden #50 (Sweden)

Born: 26.04.1993

Started 2006 in T-15, T-15 2007(Swedish Chapion)

GT-15 in 2008, and GT-30 in 2009 and 2010. He will also drive GT-30 in 2011. 

 

Christian Carlsen #60 (Norway)

Christian Carlsen drove his first race Songe 20.06.2009 in the class T-250.

Christian will drive GT-30 in 2010.

Fredrik Hovland #73 (Norway)

Born: 14.05.1994

Fredrik was start in GT-30 in 2010.

Niklas Friberg #102 (Sweden)

Born:12.11.1992

Niklas Friberg drove his first race Grisslinge 11.09.2004 in the ckass S-15.

In 2005 and 2006 Niklas drove class T-15 (Today calles GT-15). From 2007 today he have droven GT-30.
